| Welcome to the N-Tech Solutions Customer Newsletter for May 2009! by Nathan Woodcock As part of our commitment to providing an IT service that is professional, straight-talking and enjoyable we publish this newsletter every one or two months to keep in touch, have some fun and maybe even point out a few handy computer related things you didn't know. If you'd prefer not to receive this email simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom on this newsletter. It's been a little while since our last newsletter because we have been extremely busy with a few things, including taking on a new staff member. Here's a big welcome to David who you might see at your home or business next time you need a hand. He's friendly, professional and knowledgeable ands fits in well. Do You Sell x, y or z? by Nathan Woodcock I've been asked a lot recently about whether we sell this item or that item, laptops, new PCs, printers etc. The answer is yes, most definitely! We sell a full range of IT products including top quality and well priced notebooks from Toshiba, HP, Lenovo and more, also our own custom built desktop systems or pre-built business systems from HP, Lenovo, Acer etc. Just as importantly, we can give you the right information for your specific needs. We aren't shop assistants, we're computer specialists and because we don't hold stock we never need to shift an older model onto an unsuspecting buyer. You will only ever be quoted on new, current model systems. The attachment in this email looked like a form but was actually a trojan that would have been installed had I opened it. The safest rule is to never click on any link in any email purporting to be from your bank. Laptop Battery Myths and Truths by Nathan Woodcock There are a lot of ideas about the place on how to best look after your laptop battery to get the most life out of it. Some say discharge it fully then recharge it several times when you first get it, others say you should never let it run completely flat. So what is true? Take a look at this Cnet article which clears things up a little: http://www.cnet.com.au/all-about-laptop-batteries-updated-239145143.htm Contact Details Changed by Nathan Woodcock We've updated our contact details, obtaining a 1300 number and a more local fax number.
