It's been a while since I've updated anything about my SBS2008 system here in the office and thats a good thing. The system has been running without a hitch and I basically forget it's there. However for the past few weeks I've been having what appear to be intermittant DNS problems on my client PCs in the office here. For several minutes at a time PCs will be unable to resolve website addresses. After doing some research it would appear that I am not alone, and there is an issue with DNS in SBS2008 installations for some people. I've just implemented a solution found here: http://www.daitc.com/articles.php?ID=12 increasing the maxcachettl registry setting to the recommended value. We'll see how things go from here.
